In a great central location just a few minutes' walk from Marienplatz, chef-patron Christoph Kunz delivers wonderfully flavourful and fuss-free modern cuisine in the form of a four-course set menu at lunchtime and an eight-course dinner menu. The dishes are elaborate, while maintaining elegant simplicity – with just three main components going into sometimes quite surprising combinations, the talented chef creates fantastic marriages of flavours, such as Portuguese red mullet fillet seared briefly on the skin, cut into strips and served with delicately sweet, crisp young peas and an aromatic foamed broth with the perfectly balanced heat of smoked jalapeño. The setting is truly beautiful, intimate and very comfortable. The interior decor is stylish and modern, with a small chef's table offering a view of the kitchen. The professional and charming waitstaff add to the sophisticated atmosphere.
