Take a 1930s church, relocate it and then transform it into a restaurant full of warmth and character – and you have the perfect spot to get everyone to come together to break bread. There’s a huge outdoor terrace and, in winter, a covered pavilion. The menu is centred around terrific wood-fired pizzas, using seasonal produce such as wonderful local mushrooms. There are other Italian-inspired dishes available, like cacio e pepe; if you want more of a snack try the pecorino churros or the much-loved agria fries with aioli.
