Fun, flavour, strong technique, professionalism and time-honoured memories are to the fore here, coupled with the philosophy of chef Periko Ortega, who does his utmost to add “power” to every dish. This restaurant, which is located in a residential district somewhat away from the city’s main tourist haunts, is modern in style and designed to create a culinary journey (as an example, snacks and appetisers are served at the highly original bar before heading into the contemporary dining room). Once seated, you’ll start to discover ReComiendo’s creative cuisine built around memories and a desire to deceive and surprise, as is the case with the appetisers dedicated to the four meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner). Here, everything revolves around three tasting menus that are constantly changing: Recuerdos, Memoria, and Nostalgia, the first two with a wine-pairing option. We were particularly impressed by the “mazamorra”, a typical dish from Córdoba, as well as the delicious “artisanal bread from the La Tradición 1913 oven”, which is accompanied by over 20 different olive oils!
