This place has a real ace up its sleeve: its superb lakeside location on the peninsula! The large windows of this stylish restaurant afford spectacular views, and the terrace is a real highlight. But the creative cuisine, served as a five- to seven-course set menu, is also worthy of your undivided attention. Chef Lukas Nagl brings his own signature to a proudly regional approach, incorporating fermented notes and Japanese influences – without the need for ingredients from further afield. Star billing goes to fish from the lakes of Salzkammergut, such as gently torched perch cooked to perfection. Another standout is the exceedingly flavoursome, tender crayfish from the Traun River. Service is warm, attentive, and highly professional. A lovely touch: At the table, diners are shown a basket of the local ingredients used.
